Shit’s real!
Dullah’s been hungry to shoot stuff lately, got this earlier in the week. Pegs to easy 180 to fakie bars off the curb like it ain’t no thang.
PS. Right before we shot this, Mikey did something real messed up on this ledge. You’ll see the clip / photo somewhere else.
I’ve been sitting on these for a month or so now, so I’m pumped to get these out there.
First drop of 2012 is a new pair of Cali’s, and some Cali inspired tees.
We stuck with last year’s shape, but changed up the frame and lens materials. The frames this time round are matte black, with polarized lenses. And rather than engraved or printed temples, we went for die cast metal hand scrawled logos.
Tee wise, we went with our hand scrawled logo… but with a little bit of Cali flavour. Each different tee has a different gradient printed across it… the white’s get cali orange, the grey’s get blue, and the blacks are all rasta.
Here’s the promo. Hit up the online store to get your stuff now, and all our stockists will be hooked up tomorrow.
I know I don’t really have to say it – but get on the sunnies quick. They never hang around for long.
Peace!
Thanks to everyone that entered this little comp. It kinda blew me away. But at the same time, it kinda sucked, I spent wayyyy too long sitting in excel copying names from our Facebook page.
Now take a moment to admire the whiteness of our team issue jerseys. They’re pretty white.
So yeah. The winner. The name out of the proverbial hat is Wilton Hedley. Wilt, I’ll be in touch.
And as for the winner of the favorite rider, Alex got first, Brock got second, and Illman and Gunn tied for third. Ah yew.
That’s it from me for now. Mad Christmas love. Scroll down for sale details. Have a good one!
As a little something special, we made some special team issue jerseys in a white/red/black colourway. Only 20 were produced, and now we’re giving you a chance to get your hands on one.
Basically all you have to do is like our Facebook page, and then tell us who your favorite Dishonour rider is. Simple as that.
This cuts off at 12pm on Christmas eve (24 December 2011), and we’ll announce a winner on Christmas day. Maybe the day after Christmas. Depends what happens I guess! I’ll make up my mind about the announcement at some later date.
So yeah, hit up our Facebook page. You gotta be in it to win it!
Here are a bunch of random clips/outakes from Doug’s upcoming DVD, Ambition. Keen as fuck to see the finished project. Going to be so good!
Just got a message from Brad, dude is working on a new edit. He also sent through this screencap. I am keen to see the rest of his clips. So keen. Shit’s real.
It feels like it’s been forever since our last drop… well not quite forever, but 2 months is a long time. I’d planned to get this out mid October, but I really wanted everything to be perfect so it took a little bit longer to get it out. And since I was away, it was really difficult through the sampling process.
Anyway. It’s here. Ready to go. Stock’s already shipped out to stores. Stoked on being pumped.
So what we’ve got is some snapbacks, 3/4 raglans, tees and crewnecks. I’d mentioned on facebook etc that this was a sizeable drop, and I wasn’t talkin’ smack.
The snapbacks are our own custom fit and shape, and are essentially a revision of our Compton cap. All in all its a much nicer, more refined cap. Deep and wide, fits real good. There’s the little Dishonour trademark woven bike label on the rear snaps, and the inner taping is even our own. $45 will score you one, posted via our online store.
The 3/4 raglans feature contrast 3/4 length sleeves, which I guess is pretty standard for a 3/4 raglan. They’re a slim and tall fit, and the bottom is unhemmed and tail cut. They come in at $35 including postage.
There isn’t too much to say about the tees (well I mean, they’re a tee, what is there to say?) other than I’m pretty stoked on how they came out… they’re printed on our premium 180GSM blanks and come in a few different colourways. Same price as usual, $35.
And finally there’s the crewnecks. November is kinda a weird time to do some jumpers, but I am forever getting requests for crewnecks and hoodies in summer… and I thought this design would look sweet in a crew… so yeah. We got crews. They’re only available on the online store, super limited numbers, holla at em. $75 including postage.
There are also a couple of packs where you can get a Cap + Tee + Crewneck or Cap + Raglan + Crewneck for $130. But they’re only available via the online store.
So that’s plenty of words. Here’s the promo:
You can get yourself any of the new gear via our online store now, and I’ve just sent out product to Backbone BMX, Bike Nirvana, Little Black Bike, Pushy’s Bikes Warehouse, Welly’s Cycleworks, Riding Way and The Shed.
The new site’s here… hope you dig. I dig.
P.S. Big drop in a couple of weeks.
While I’ve been away, updates have been few and far between… but I’ve been filling my time travelling on planes/trains/buses working on edits here and there. Earlier this week both Dullah and Mikey’s edits dropped (scroll down to check them out), and hopefully over this weekend I’ll be able to upload a mixtape of the crew.
Clips in this one are from Tom Blanch, Dullah Djawas, Will Gunn, Brock Olive, Mike McMah, Jadan Roxburgh & Brad Wright.
Stay tuned…
