For the latest 2020, we ran Brock’s pegs-hard-three-over sequence. It’s unnecessary to say this… but such a wild jaunt. Thanks to Duffy for shooting.
I don’t like to get on my soapbox or whatever, but 2020 is one of the best things to come out of Australia, and it’s been rolling since ’98. Over the years I’ve written, photographed and now work on the online side of 2020. This might sound self-serving (and it’s totally not intended that way), but make sure you support the shops and brands that advertise in the mag. This last issue I’ve noticed a massive decline in advertisers – I don’t wanna see 2020 go the way of the dinosaur. So support the advertisers, buy the mag, let’s keep this thing rolling!
I just sent out our next print ad (2020 is going to the printers tomorrow) and I remembered that I haven’t run our last few print ads up here.
In the last 2020 (v46) we ran a sequence of Jack Kelly’s feeble hard 180 out, dropped an edit with it and welcomed him to the team. I don’t know why the ad never got posted, but here it is.
And in the last FP, Tenna got some love with this 180 raz hopper. In other Tenna news, he is out for a few weeks with fractured ribs.
Today’s the last day that you’ll be able to order and expect your order to arrive before Christmas, by standard mail.
Don’t stress too hard though – we are offering express post options too. That means you can order up until 7am this Friday, and your order will arrive on Christmas eve.
I can’t believe I forgot to post about Hammers! On the weekend, we supported House of Hammers… think Slay the Rail V2, in Sydney. Improved setup, Shadow team in town and Andre Regli doing vocals. Good shit.
Brock came home with the cigar, doing some wild shit and earning himself $1000 cash. Word.
We featured Illman in our latest Focalpoint ad, solid tuck. There’s a clip somewhere of a pretty wild crash on this. Scroll down a bit more and you can read FP in it’s entirety.
Dullah got the FIT ad in the last issue of FP. Solid cranky down a slippery rail.
Also. Dullah, Mikey, Doug and Me are going to Slay. I am pretty sure Brock, Kajewski, Illman and Tenna are in town and riding it too. Gonna be a good trip!
Kajewski’s been unofficially a part of our crew for a few months now. The release of the latest 2020 kinda trumped us on the announcement, because that dropped a few days ago and the edit wasn’t quite ready.
Anyway. Here’s the edit, and scroll down to see his ad.
